Program Details

Keep your chil­dren speak­ing Chi­nese
over the sum­mer with fun arts & crafts,
cook­ing, and engi­neer­ing activ­i­ties.

Daily Camp Hours

Camp runs from 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Extend­ed care avail­able from 8:00am – 6:00 pm for an addi­tion­al charge.

Camp Cost

Camp Fees

  • $375 / ses­sion (Spring Rate) if reg­is­tra­tion paid on or before 3/15/2018
  • $400 / ses­sion if reg­is­tra­tion paid after 3/15/2018
  • Ses­sion 3 (4-day camp) dis­count­ed by $50 — [$300, $325, $350]

NOTE: Cer­tain camps have addi­tion­al mate­ri­als fees (see camp descrip­tions below)

Extended Care

  • Reg­u­lar camp hours : 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
  • Extend­ed care avail­able for $75/week  : (8:00 – 9:00 a.m., 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.)
  • A late fee of $1/minute is assessed for late pick-up after 6:00 p.m.


  • Mul­ti­ple week dis­count: Save $25 per week when you sign up for three (3) or more weeks.
  • Sib­ling Dis­count: Take $25 off per week for sec­ond child (can­not be com­bined with mul­ti­ple week dis­count).

Refund Policy

  • Camp weeks are not trans­fer­able to oth­er campers.
  • Writ­ten (includ­ing email) notice is required to can­cel your reg­is­tra­tion and a $100 per camp will be retained as CANCELLATION fee.
  • NO REFUNDS will be giv­en after 5/15/2018.
  • Ear­ly Bird rates are not eli­gi­ble for refunds.

Camp Descriptions

Learn more about our dif­fer­ent sum­mer camp activ­i­ties below.

All camps are taught in Chi­nese by our native Chi­nese speak­ers.
When nec­es­sary, teach­ers will help chil­dren in Eng­lish to under­stand the Chi­nese instruc­tions and vocab­u­lary.

Little Chefs Camps (小廚師)

This camp teach­es chil­dren how to pre­pare dif­fer­ent foods in Chi­nese cui­sine.

  • Every day, chil­dren will be intro­duced to food and dessert recipes they will pre­pare for the day.
  • They will learn the Chi­nese vocab­u­lary asso­ci­at­ed with the recipe and ingre­di­ents.
  • In the morn­ing, they will help mea­sure and pre­pare recipes for lunch meals.
  • In the after­noon, they will help mea­sure and pre­pare recipes for dessert/snacks.

Campers will have lunch pro­vid­ed.

If your child has any spe­cial dietary needs, please inform us and/or
pre­pare a sep­a­rate lunch meal for your child.

Mate­ri­als Fee: $50 — fee cov­ers cost of food and desserts chil­dren will make.

Little Artists (小藝術家)

This camp gives chil­dren the chance to learn arts and crafts with our Chi­nese teach­ers. Our arts and crafts teach­ers will guide chil­dren in dif­fer­ent activ­i­ties relat­ed to that week’s theme.

Some activ­i­ties include: water­col­or brush paint­ing, origa­mi, and paper crafts. Teach­ers will also help chil­dren learn and prac­tice vocab­u­lary relat­ed to the week’s theme.

Little Puppeteer & Storytelling (小木偶師)

This pup­pet the­atre camp let chil­dren make their own pup­pets, props, and back­drops and then let chil­dren tell their own sto­ries.

  • Our teach­ers will teach chil­dren sto­ry­telling skills, help them cre­ate their skits, and help them prac­tice their pro­nun­ci­a­tion.
  • Chil­dren can then per­form their pup­pet shows and we help them cre­ate a video record for them to share.
  • Through repeat­ed “rehearsals & prac­tice”, chil­dren will improve their pup­peteer­ing skills and their sto­ry­telling skills.

Little Jewelry Maker (小珠寶師)

This camp teach­es chil­dren how to cre­ate dif­fer­ent types of jew­el­ry with our expe­ri­enced jew­el­ry mak­er teacher.

Chil­dren will learn:

  • How to make a wide vari­ety of bead­ed and wire-twist­ing jew­el­ry.
  • Dif­fer­ent types of jew­el­ry designs and learn about aes­thet­ics of jew­el­ry mak­ing
  • About mate­r­i­al selec­tion and design pat­terns that enhance the jew­el­ry design.
  • How to make their own jew­el­ry each day and learn and prac­tice jew­el­ry-mak­ing tech­niques.
  • Chi­nese vocab­u­lary and ter­mi­nol­o­gy asso­ci­at­ed with jew­el­ry-mak­ing.

Mate­ri­als Fee: $50 — fee cov­ers cost of jew­el­ry-mak­ing sup­plies.

Little Maker – Tools and Woodwork (小製造家-工具與木工)

This camp teach­es chil­dren how to use basic tools and under the watch­ful eye of teach­ers, make their own sim­ple wood­work­ing projects.

Chil­dren will learn:

  • About tool safe­ty and pro­tec­tive gear.
  • How to use hand tools like ham­mers and screw­drivers.
  • How to use elec­tric drills and saws to cre­ate sim­ple wood-work­ing projects.

Mate­ri­als Fee: $20 — fee cov­ers cost of hand tool kit (for kids to take home at end of camp) and wood mate­r­i­al for project.

Little Engineer – Programming Hardware (小工程師-控制電子硬件)

This camp teach­es chil­dren about how com­put­ers con­nect to the phys­i­cal word through hard­ware elec­tron­ics.

Chil­dren will learn:

  • About dif­fer­ent com­po­nents of a portable com­put­er and how they inter-con­nect.
  • About sim­ple elec­tron­ic cir­cuits and com­mon hard­ware com­po­nents.
  • How to pro­gram a com­put­er to inter­act with elec­tron­ic cir­cuits.
  • To build their own “project” cir­cuit and pro­gram it through their com­put­er.

Mate­ri­als Fee: $80 — fee cov­ers cost of mini­com­put­er and elec­tron­ics hard­ware com­po­nents. Chil­dren will take their com­put­er hard­ware project home.

Little Newton – Roller Coasters (小牛頓 - 雲霄飛車)

This camp teach­es chil­dren about the sci­ence behind roller coast­ers.

Chil­dren will

  • Learn about grav­i­ty, fric­tion, and con­ser­va­tion of ener­gy through dif­fer­ent exper­i­ments.
  • Build dif­fer­ent types of roller coast­ers.
  • Mod­i­fy and extend their roller coast­ers to accom­plish dif­fer­ent tasks.
